Crackle Glass Dish on Stretched Glass Pedestal Unique Art glass
This vintage art glass is so unique that I haven’t been able to identify it or find a maker. I hardly know how to describe it and with the differing colors and textures, I also found it hard to photograph clearly. It is much more beautiful in person than my photos portray. This was part of my mom’s thirty year glass collection but I do not know the age.
The top seems to be a clear crackle glass bowl with some amber and yellow colors woven into the wavy glass to add a touch of color. Depending on the lighting, they go from subtle to rich. Then the crackle glass dish is fused to the bottom pedestal clear glass which looks like it is layered upon itself on the stem and then goes into three separate leaf-like feet.
Condition: No chips, cracks, or rough areas identified.
