Czech Pre-WWII Porcelain Green Cream Pitcher Pastoral Scene Woman
This is a unique vintage tankard pitcher creamer, likely 1900’s-1930's from what I can determine. I am unsure of the maker but the mark looks like it says "Made in Czecho-Slovakia". There is also an “A” alongside it. This ceramic cream pitcher is a lovely light green color. On the front is a pastoral scene with a lady in a field. There is gold around the spout and a lovely curved handle. A great display piece that could also be used as a little vase or to hold various trinkets.
Creamer is about 5 inches tall and measures 3 1/2 inches from handle to spout.
-There appears to be some divets, creases, and bumps in the ceramic in various places formed during creation and painted just the same.
-The circular bottom is not perfectly symmetrical and dips inward at some points.
Signs of Age
-There is a crack up by the handle that is either due to age or made during manufacturing. The crack is on the outside of the cream pitcher and does not appear to penetrate the inside.
-Some of the gold has wore off around the spout.
I did not find any chips or damage from rough handling.
