Vintage Ceramic Madonna Planter Virgin Mary Praying Dickson Japan
Add this Madonna or Virgin Mary planter to your religous decor collection or place as a stand alone piece to a bookshelf or table top to add a pop of vintage style! This monochromatic off white Mary with a glossy top coat is more unique than many of the traditional multi-color painted bisque Madonna planters. It was made in Japan for Dickson as the original sticker on the bottom states.
Measurements: Approximately 7 ¼” tall by 5 ½” wide by 4 ¼” deep.
Condition:
Preowned good vintage condition.
All fingers intact.
Planter shows stainage from previous planting inside and a little soil discoloration around the pot opening.
Some idents along the hairline ridge either from wear or created during manufacturing.
No large cracks or repairs identified.
Most notable blemish is isolated to nose area. Some chipping and loss of glossy enamel on the tip of the nose. More identifiable up close than further away.
